A series of marked hiking tracks crosses Ville sur Sarre, and so I could quickly leave the road and walk into the fields. The tracks meander through agriculural fields, hedges, and little snippets of uncultivated land. The track I followed on various days quickly ascends the mountain slope, to hit after a km or so at a dirt road. After a few meters on the dirt road, the track continued to the left, entering into somewhat open conifer forest.
